Our double cabin features two private rooms, each with private bathrooms.  Each room has a private garden overlooking the jungle and river below. The cabin is made of barreque, a traditional clay and wood construction used in many parts of Colombia, which keeps the room nice and cool all day long.

It’s the perfect room for those looking for privacy while travelling on a budget. This cabin is tucked on the edge of our jungle reserve and has a large outdoor patio to enjoy the view over the wildlife and the river below. The short walk from the cabin to the shared bathrooms and common areas takes you past some of our organic vegetable gardens and a variety of tropical fruit trees. This cabin is built using bareque, a traditional technique using wood, clay, and glass bottles for construction. The thick clay walls keep the heat out during the day, while the glass bottles allow for a pleasant light to enter the room in the late morning.
