Experiences that
leave you speechless
Ritmo del Rio is located in San Rafael, Antioquia — a tranquil agricultural town three hours east of Medellín. Sitting at 1000 meters above sea level, San Rafael enjoys an incredible subtropical climate year-round, never becoming overwhelmingly hot nor unpleasantly cold. With six crystal-clear rivers, dozens of waterfalls, and beautiful jungle treks, San Rafael is a true tropical paradise.
Ritmo del Rio is a 15-minute drive from the town center, offering an escape from the bustle of lively town life while still remaining close enough for daily visits if needed. While quiet on most weekdays, the town of San Rafael comes to life on the weekends, as many campesinos (farmers) come down from their farms on horseback for their weekly shopping and festivities.
